<the design>
The keywords for Elixr were…sexy, elegant, sensuous, and intriguing.
After defining the logo that included a potion-like symbol, we brought those elements into the UI and started to define the design system. We created illustrative archetype visuals, sensual graphic elements, while clearly defining the grid and spacing, type and color palette, and essential components to transform the wires into high-definition design.
Bliss, one of the core components of the app, required not only visual design but also verbal design. Knowing we didn’t want to put a face to the name, we wanted to make sure the conversations users had with Bliss were comfortable and genuine. We kept things in a text style environment to keep things conversational and had a relationship coach write most of the copy to maintain a level of authenticity.
When putting together the 1:1 personal coaching experience, we wanted to make sure coaches and users had some knowledge about one another, so we came up with a quiz that would give users an archetype that would help match them with a suitable coach.
To keep it on brand, we started by creating the archetype visuals using AI and then refining them by hand. We incorporated Elixr’s branding with traditional tantric symbols.
